Get the wolf talisman equip it to the guy you want with more hit points, then click on the modify party button click done when the load thing hits the end wait about a second then press spacebar go to the charecter screen click level up and he'll have 1 more hit point. It could take a while to get high and your charecter must have 8000000 ex.

Easier Hard And Insane Modes

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "icewind.ini" file in the game directory. Change the "Suppress Extra Difficulty Damage=0" line to "Suppress Extra Difficulty Damage=1". This eliminates the 150% and 200% increases to monster damage (and experience points) on the hard and insane difficulty settings.
